Cookstown Cup,Craig Cup and University Boat Race River Lagan Belfast Saturday 8th June 2013.

Bann’s young men and women will travel to Belfast on Saturday 8th June 2013 to defend both the Cookstown Cup (J18 ladies rowing) and the Craig Cup (men’s J16 Ulster Championship) Both Bann crews will face stiff opposition with the girls against crews from Belfast Rowing Club, Methodist College Belfast and Portora Royal School. The boys will be challenged by crews from Coleraine Inst, Methodist College Belfast and Portora Royal School.

Both Bann crews will need all the support they can muster to triumph over this formidable opposition. From a supporter point of view this is like no other event in Ireland’s rowing calendar. Belfast City Council in conjunction with Ramada Hotel Group have laid on entertainment ,marquees and bands throughout the day. please visit the link to get an idea what’s in store
